IS CBD LEGAL?

This seemingly simple question used to have many people — from mainstream Americans to federal regulators — utterly confused. Before digging into the details, the bottom line is that cannabidiol is 100% legal across the board thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill signed into law by President Trump. Cannabidiol itself is not specifically listed on the United States Controlled Substances Act, the way THC and marijuana are. 

Each state still has certain shifting laws and regulations, but unless you plan on setting up a CBD shop to sell the oil, you shouldn't worry about just purchasing it for personal use.
